An organization that helps people of all races and religious backgrounds in need of assistance with food, rent, gas, electricity, and water etc. Meet every Wednesday in the Parish Center basement for the food pantry followed by a meeting to consider additional needs.
The group strives to promote health and wellness of body, mind and spirit. They live out the Gospel by reaching out to those experiencing illness or trauma during some portion of life’s journey. They are prepared to be present to others, offer companionship to those who are lonely, depressed or homebound and offer help to family members in times of need. Members are committed to confidentiality and are nonjudgmental. Promote community by networking with other community organizations.
We welcome families who are temporarily homeless. Volunteer to prepare a main meal, spend time with the children or assist with set-up or tear-down. Occurring once every five weeks, sign up precedes each hosting week.
Each Advent parishioners purchase and wrap gifts given for the needy of the Parish and neighboring community. Workers needed to help organize requests and deliver gifts.
This new event is like a “Block Party” and is designed to bring everyone living near the Parish together in order to build fellowship and trust among neighbors. Workers needed to help organize and reach out to non-parishioners.
Donate new white socks that will be given to homeless individuals.
